Each surgeon has undertaken many years of advanced medical and dental study, and clinical training.
Based in the Hamilton CBD, Anglesea OMS is the largest oral and maxillofacial clinic in Waikato. With three surgeons in the practice, Anglesea OMS is also able to provide full emergency cover for referring practitioners.

Anglesea OMS was purpose built for oral and maxillofacial surgery. We use the highest quality equipment and are the only oral and maxillofacial clinic in New Zealand with the latest diagnostic Axeos 3D Cone Beam CT Scanner, for CBCT scans.
For traceability and additional security, our sterilisation equipment and processes include the Meditrax sterilisation tracking system.
History of Anglesea OMS
Anglesea OMS evolved from the Oral Surgery practice of Peter Clarke. Peter set up this Oral Surgery practice in Avon House, 510 Grey Street, Hamilton in 1976. He practiced there for 12 years until he was persuaded to shift to Anglesea Clinic by the late John Sullivan. Peter shifted his practice to Anglesea Clinic at its inception in 1988. He was joined by Brian Whitley in January 1997 and Anglesea OMS was born.
Brian and Peter practiced together for nine further years in a practice designed for one surgeon before shifting to the current location in John Sullivan House.
This shift took place in May 2006 when Angus Colquhoun joined the practice. At this time we also welcomed Katie Ayers a Paediatric Specialist.
More recently Simon Lou has joined Anglesea OMS. As per his CV, Simon is a Hamiltonian and so in a sense he has come home.
We are proud of Anglesea OMS. We have a state of the art practice with all the equipment to provide a complete service to our patients and with four surgeons in the practice we are able to provide a full emergency cover for our referring practitioners.
